Theequations oftheinsertion lossandthe isolation bandwidth oflowlosstwo-port isolator werederived fromequivalent circuit using perturbation theory. Theequations showthattheinsertion loss getslowerinproportion totheratio ofinductors oftwoelectrodes, while theisolation bandwidth gets narrower nearly intheproportion totheratio. A 3.2X2.5X1.4mm3 cellular phoneisolator whichvolumewas 44% oftheconventional products was realized using two electrodes ofasymmetrical structure thatinductance ofonewas muchlarger thanthatoftheanother.
