OnA Real-valued EVD Approach toCyclic DOA Estimation

By exploiting thereal-valued eigendecomposition (EVD)ofthecentro-Hermitian matrix, anovelCyclic MUSIC algorithm withsignal selective property ispresented by introducing a new forwardbackwardsmoothedcovariance matrix. ComparedwithCyclic MUSICalgorithm, theproposed approach hasabetter performance inthepresence ofmultipath propagation. Inaddition, thisapproach notonlyreduces the computational complexity, butalso allows toselect desired signals andtoignore interferences byexploiting thecyclostationarity property ofsignals ofinterest (SOIs). Simulation results that illustrate theperformance ofthis approach inconjunction with Cyclic MUSICalgorithm aredescribed.
