When debugging a problem, one of the first things you need to figure out is where to look to find the source of the problem. This paper presents a couple of quick tips that will make it easier for you to chain backwards from problem data sets or mapping formats to their source programs. Also included is a tip, independent of the file creation date, for identifying when a data set was created.
