Antcolony optimization (ACO)algorithms havebeen applied successfuilly tocombinatorial optimization problems. More recently, Parpinelli etalhaveapplied ACO todatamining classification problems, wheretheyintroduced a classification algorithm called AntMiner. Inthis paper, wepresent ahybrid system that combines boththeproposed Enhanced Quickreduct algorithm for datapreprocessing andantminer. Thesystem wastested onstandard datasetanditsperformance isbetter thantheoriginal AntMiner algorithm.
