Multimodal registration framework and visualization

This paper presents the implementation of a image registrat ion framework (Insight Segmentation and Registration Toolkit) into a already existing system for interactive har dware-accelerated volume rendering (VolumeShop) with the purpose of doing multi-modal medical visualization. Th e system is then used on a set of common publicdomain CT, MRI and Histology-data from the Visible Human Pro ject for different multi-modal registrations and visualizations.
