Simulation of PN Code Sequences for Cellular Systems
Santit Traithavil · 2006
PN sequences are an important part of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) based wireless cellular systems. This report investigates the generation of m-sequences, Gold sequences, Gold-like sequences and Kasami sequences, which are special families of PN sequences. The autocorrelation and cross-correlation of these sequences are compared and analysed. The PN sequences specified in IS-95 CDMA and WCDMA standards are generated and stored for use in system level simulations.
