Cellular neural network isverysuitable tosolve communication problems because ofitslocal connection. This papersummarizes anewapproach forCNN'stemplate design basedonenergy function, whichisvalid tosuchproblems as equalizer andmulti-user detector. Thisapproach cancombine theobjective function ofcommunication problems withCNN's energyfunction, andthenobtain reasonable CNN'stemplate. We alsodiscuss thelearning algorithm and hardware annealing joined withtheapproach. Simulation results prove that this methodisvalid toaclass ofcommunication problems.
