ARSDES: Aii Autoiiiated Reed-Solomon Decoder aiid Encoder Synthesis System

This paper describes the architecture and implementation of the autoiiiated synthesis system for ReedSoloiiioii (RS) decoder aiid encoder. Given tlie specifications of a desired RS codec circuit, ARSDES automatically synthesizes. tlieii outputs a circuit in verilog-HDL. The systeiii is constructed using ail object-oriented technique so it is easy to iiiaiiitaiii and extend the :jysteiii. A new method is used to coiistruct the automatcd syiithesis system by generating templates of tlie source cade of the system from a description of esistiiig liarclware.
