This paper gives a clear picture about segmenting the object from an image through the process of pattern matching. It is challenge to retrieve desired object from an image. The various steps involved are preprocessing the input image, forming the super pixel and segmenting the desired object. have similar value. The common procedure is to compare one pixel with its neighbors. If a similarity criterion is satisfied, the pixel can be set belong to the cluster as one or more of its neighbors.
