Nowadays boundary-scan technique is widely supported by most vendors which are semiconductor and test system companies. That a boundary-scan test bus called boundary-scan is the standard test access port now can be enabled in the FPGA System by adding a few line of VHDL code. This paper presents the design of both PC-interface circuit and boundary-scan API, which are implemented in JAVA to provide the programming way for accessing-applying test data and acquiring test result- the test access port of FPGA device. Using the designed API equipped with the designed low-cost PC hardware interface help us conquer the complex task of testing digital systems that is designed on the basis of FPGA devices. Moreover, it is the best method to reduce the cost of testing systems.
