existing object-oriented language with concurrency features. In this paper, we present the language Interprocess Communication with C++ (IPCC++), a C++[7] extension with UNIX based InterProcess Communication objects for distributed memory which extends C++ with concurrency features. IPCC+ + represents a concurrent object-oriented language based on UNIX IPC and the object-oriented language C++. UNIX and C++ were selected as the computing environment and the base language because of their popularity. For a detailed description of IPCC+ + for shared memory models, please refer to [8]. This paper describes the components of the ZPCC++ model and provides examples demonstrating the use of the ZPCC++ programming language for parallel programming in a distributed computing environment. The IPCC++ model is an extension of C++ that introduces concurrency features as objects. The introduction of concurrency in this manner supports the object-oriented programming paradigm and is orthogonal with the base language. Section 2 gives an overview of IPCC++ and describes related research. Sections 3 and 4 define the IPCC++ components and system. Finally, Section 5 contains the conclusion. IPCC++ features are demonstrated using The Problem of Dining Philosophers.[ 11
