Thiscorrespondence deals withtheeffect ofmultiple signals onthe control voltage ofthedelay-lock discriminator (tracker). Given n returned signals withknowndelay andpower,aformula forthe tracker estimate isderived. Theanalysis hasspecific application to low-altitude altimeters wheretheleaksignal fromthetransmitter tothereceiver mayhavedelay comparable tothedelay ofthetrue signal.
