The primary contribution of this paper is the definition of a marginal bearing density function for the measurements produced by a certain tmck which forms the theoretical foundation for the dif- ferent proposed promising improvements. Stepwise implementation of the different measures can pm- vide MHT applications with the means to use the available computer stomge and computation time re- sources as eficient as possible. hrthennore, delay- times that can occur before processing/pruning are minimized.
