Inthis paper, weanalyze theperformance ofIEEE 802.11b WLAN communication betsi eenaccesspoint(AP) and mobileequipment(ME) in 2.4GHz band withnoiseand interference factors. WLAN communication at in-vehicle environment isassumedasthecommunication between electric control units(ECUs) ofvehicle andcentral bodycontroller in telematics field forimplementing wireless vehicle control system. Receivedinterference levelfrom othersystem's mobile equipment inthesamebandandautomobile noisefromeach partofVehicle canbethemainfactors thatcancauseincreasing errorrateofcontrol signal. Withthesefactors, wefocusonthe Eb/NotheBER performance ofWLAN foranalyzing the characteristic ofinterference factors bythemeasuredbiterror rate.
