Aristeidis Chatzipoulidis, Athanasios Belidis, Theodoros Kargidis · 2013
The most obvious features of information society are the emergence of social networks and the everincreasing influence of the Internet. While few can doubt the usefulness of this channel in areas such as ecommerce, there is also considerable concern about content such as pornographic and pedophilic material or material that stirs up violence. This paper views information society as an information security management system under a risk management prism. The purpose of this study is to increase the safety of individuals in respect to online information privacy, improve public administration and regulate unethical situations.
