Psychoacoustic Model-1 using Wavelet Tree Decomposition

Jagadeesh B. Kanade · 2014

Audio compression is the lossy compression technique of renovating sound indicates directly into a good successfully encoded stream that can afterwards be decoded to produce a close approximation on the original data. In this work we are looking into implementation regarding psychoacoustics model intended for MPEG-1 making use of wavelet decomposition. For implementing this algorithm a design of psycho-acoustic model was developed. In this work psychoacoustic model implementation is based on Wavelet tree decomposition instead of conventional Fast Fourier transform (FFT).
