Some Novel Results on I-D and 2-D Sequences with Zero Correlation Zone

For one-dimensional (I-D) and two-dimensional (2-D) binary, ternary and polyphase sequence set with zero correlation zone (ZCZ), generalized methods of extension of family size are proposed at the cost of decreasing width of ZCZ, based on left shift operator or chip shift operator, enlarged family size will multiply original size in keeping with reduction of width of ZCZ. These approaches can satisfy system's requirement to sequence set with large family size in communications, radar and navigation systems. In addition, lower bounds for 2-D sequences with ZCZ or low correlatioo zone (LCZ) are presented as well.
