Handwriting and gender: a statistical study

an attempt was made to ascertain the gender of writers by a statistical study of characteristic elements found in their handwrit ing. in this work, the variation in the writing of a hundred males and a hundred females was statistically analysed. the results obtained are encouraging from the point of view of determination of the gender of the writer. By knowing the gender, the suspect list for a particular case can be shortened, which will facilitate the examination/investigation.
