AVISADOS: A Multi-Agent System for Advanced Visual Surveillance
Antonio Fernández‐Caballero · 2010
The use of visual surveillance systems has grown exponentially in the last decade. This expansion requires technological help for analyzing and interpreting the enormous amount of visual information produced. The AVISADOS project includes (a) the generation of a su‐ciently rich communication language (scene description language) between the processing and understanding levels of the image, (b) the development of generic sensors (visual and non-visual) that integrate the physical data with the knowledge on environment and task, (c) the support to decision making (man-machine interaction) by means of augmented reality techniques, and (d) the creation of a tool for the generation of multi-sensorial surveillance environments modeled as multi-agent systems.
