A SPREADING CODE PROTOCOL UTL>ZING ANECHO FROM THE RECEIVER

Elvino Silveira Sousa · 1988

A spreading code protocol for a spread spectrum packet radio network that involves the transmission of a synchronization sequence by the transmitter and the transmission of an echo by the receiver back to the transmitter during a link setup process is introduced. The protocol is applicable to systems with a relatively small number of terminals, low terminal data rates, and a high processing gain. Throughput results are given for two spreading code protocols.
