Comparison of shapes of two-dimensional figures with the use of morphological spectra and EMD metrics

It is shown that the problems of real-time classification of two-dimensional figures and binary images can be successfully solved on the basis of comparison of discrete–continuous morphological pattern spectra with the use of the EMD-L 1 metric.
