SDTM in Business Intelligence

The SDTM standard is widely used for data storage and pooling. This paper looks at the use of SDTM data for cross study analysis using Business Intelligence tools, starting with an introduction to warehousing principles. It covers the steps required to use SDTM domains as dimensions in a star schema, allowing the data to be used for user-driven creation of powerful ad-hoc reports and provision of interactive dashboards.
