SPREADSHEET-BASED SIMULATION AND OPTIMIZATION ON TOMORROW'S PLATFORMS

Spreadsheets like Excel are still powerful on desktops and laptops ‐ but like other software, spreadsheets have moved to the Web and mobile devices. Monte Carlo simulation, optimization and other analytics methods are now available on these new platforms. In this session, we will demonstrate and discuss Risk Solver and Premium Solver for Excel Online and Office 365, and other new platforms that enable you to work anywhere, connect to any sort of data, and collaborate with anyone on analytics projects. We’ll also demonstrate Analytic Solver Platform, a comprehensive Excel-based tool for data mining and predictive analytics, simulation and risk analysis, and conventional and stochastic optimization, and apply data exploration and data mining tools to better understand Monte Carlo simulation results.
