RUT - development handbook 9.28 C integration with MATLAB v 5.0

Vasile Baluta · 2007

Sometimes it is necessary to call C functions from MATLAB or to call MATLAB from a C programme. Maybe there is a need to speed up a MATLAB function by writing it in C or maybe there is a need to use some of MATLAB’s innumerous matrix functions in a C programme. This process description is about the steps needed to join a C programme with MATLAB. It’s also gives the steps needed to get started debugging your program using Visual Studio.NET 2003. It is not a complete description of the opportunities MATLAB offers. It is more like a get started help. More information about communication between MATLAB and C programmes can be found by following the links under References.
