We propose an algorithm based on simulated annealing for automatic seed matching and reconstruction using either three radiographic films or three fluoroscopic images. An algorithm for automated seed identification on fluoroscopic images is also proposed. We present results obtained for 112 clinical cases, 100 simulated cases and one phantom reconstruction with known seed locations. Results for clinical cases are compared with results obtained using three-film technique.
