HERA, A NEW STAGE IN COLLIDING BEAM FACILITIES

ner the region covered by a I TeV fixed target machine is shown. It is clear that HERA opens up a totally new kinematical region not accessibleby other means,and in particular the region around 100 GeV in c.m.,the presumed mass scale of the weak interaction, can be investigated in detail.
