Wireless modeling isa critical partofthe wireless network research. Predictions ofionospheric propagation are typically verycostly inbothtimeand memory.AfastHFlinkquality simulation algorithm is proposed based on a combination ofthemeasured data and classicMUF-LUFprediction algorithm in HF networks anda novelradionodeisdesigned inOPNET to simulate thephysical layer of a HFbank/ship networkusing theproposed algorithm. Thedesigned radionodecan entirely perform thefunctions ofOPNET RadioTransceiver Pipeline.
