A very effective and computationally simplest techn ique for image compression is Embedded Zerotree Wavelet(EZW)coding. here we defined an alternative principle of an operation of im age compression. these principles are partial ordering by magnitude with a set partitioning sorting algorithm, ordered bit pl ane transmission, similarity across different scales of an image wave let transform. We present a new and ifferent implementation based on set partitioning i n hierarchical trees(SPIHT),which provides better p erformance Zerotree Wavelet. SPIHT algorithm is used for sourc e coding of an image to be transmitted. The from actual size and images reconstructed by decodi ng algorithm. In addition, the new coding and decoding procedures are extremely fast, and they can be made even faster, with only sma ll loss in performance, by omitting entropy coding of the bit stream by arithmetic code. : EZW(Embedded Zerotree Wavelet), SPIHT(set partitioning in hierarchical trees)
