Ubiquitous personalization of a smartphone, used as a universal controller

Universal, natural, ubiquitous and collaborative - these four words best describe our vision of a smartphone, used as a universal controller for human-computer interaction. Thus, we named the proposed framework UNUC. The idea is to enable people to use their smartphones to control and interact with different devices like computers, domestic appliances, public information spaces etc.. In other words, UNUC represents a 'communication hub' for interacting with a vast range of devices. Because of this, UNUC not only unifies interaction, but also opens up many possibilities for the personalization of interaction, which we discuss in this paper. Author Keywords
