A model for the breast cancer disease prediction is presented using data mining techniques. Breast cancer is considered to be the second leading cancers for women in developed countries including India. In this paper we have discussed various data mining approaches that have been utilized for breast cancer diagnosis .The study of this paper summarizes various technical articles on breast cancer diagnosis and also we focus on current research being carried out using the data mining techniques to enhance the breast cancer diagnosis.
