Report describing application of software to chosen IE scenario

In this report, we discuss the applicability of the generation techniques developed under Deep Thought to one of the chosen application scenarios. We consider the problem of generating reports from databases of consumer opinions extracted from newsgroups. Deep realisation is contrasted with the use of templates for realisation. We discuss how realisation interacts with other modules in a generation system and identify some areas where future research is needed.
