Message from the PRDC 2010 Program Co-Chairs

Dong Tang, Hiroshi Nakamura · 2010

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Tokyo and PRDC 2010. The PRDC 2010 technical program covers a wide range of topics in dependable computing, from theory to practice, fault tolerance to security, hardware to software, and single computers to networks spanning the world. This year we received 65 regular paper submissions from 21 countries and regions. We would like to thank all authors for their efforts in submitting papers. Each submitted paper was assigned to five Program Committee (PC) members for review and 282 reviews were generated. We greatly appreciate the hard work of all PC members in reviewing papers. Finally, we selected 27 regular papers, based on the review comments, for presentation at this symposium, which represents an acceptance rate of 41.5%. You will find many high-quality and interesting papers. To expand this year’s program and attendance, we also called for Fast Abstracts. We received 17 Fast Abstract submissions and accepted 15 of them, creating another interesting track. We believe that the regular papers, the Fast Abstract papers, and the keynote/invited talks described in the Message from the General Chair constitute an outstanding program and hope that you will enjoy the program and engage in many fruitful discussions.
