Should Your School Get A Microcomputer?

It has been recognized for some time that some level of “computer literacy” would be a valuable part of most high school programs. Unfortunately, factors such as high costs and lack of knowledge about computing hardware have made it difficult for most schools to provide students with access to computers. Now these difficulties are being overcome, however, and we should soon see a revolution in the use of computers in schools just as dramatic as that caused by the recent widespread availability of pocket calculators. The reason: microcomputers.
