PT. Aplikanusa Lintasarta has implemented the Metro ethernet technology is a solution to the world of telecommunications. This technology can meet the demands of the market who want integration in their systems. Metro ethernet, literally means a data communication network that metro-scale (scale to reach a big city) using ethernet technology as a data transport protocol. Brocade is a U.S. technology company specializing in data networking products and storage. Brocade networking products to market data and storage to companies in Southeast Asia, especially companies in Indonesia. PT. Aplikanusa Lintasarta itself is one of the companies that use multiple products including switches from Brocade. Metro ethernet is a network that uses technologies in baseband transmission method that sends the signal serially 1 bit at a time. Metro ethernet operates in half-duplex mode, which means each transmitter (station) can receive or send data but can not do both at once. Metro Ethernet components including : a light source, fiber optic, Optical Terminal Board (OTB), a splitter and a splicer . Design of Metro ethernet in PT. Aplikanusa Lintasarta starts from the beginning to the end of the installation and configuration can be implemented properly. Therefore, the communication data or transfer data from one device to another device using the Metro ethernet Brocade technology, has been able to pass data without loss and can be monitored well.
