Preparation and characteristics of cloth inductor.

A cloth inductor using amorphous magnetic fibers and conductive fibers with various diameters has been machine-made.The frequency characteristics of inductance and quality factor have been measured and suitable magnetic materials for the cloth inductor discussed together with optimization of amorphous fiber and conductive fiber size in order to put the cloth inductor into practical use.A inductor with Q>30 and Ld>10 μH/mm3 is expected to be realized.
