Symbolic analysis of programmable digital filters

This paper focuses on symbolic derivation of system and noise transfer functions and symbolic synthesis of programmable digital filters. A new symbolic approach is presented to obtain robust and cost-effective realizations not available by classical digital filter design. The advantages of the new approach are discussed.
