Take comprehensive approach for a safer campus

When Ed Book, chief of police at Santa Fe College in Florida, looked at the statistics showing the decline in crime on his campus, he was worried they had been miscalculated. From 2012 to 2013, crimes reported under the Federal Bureau of Investigation Uniform Crime Reporting dropped 38 percent. And the decline was at least that much from 2013 to 2014.
