Deblocking BDCT-compressed images by TV filtering

Chan et al. proposed digital TV filter as an implementation of minimum Total Variation image denoising. In this paper, an attempt is made to apply digital TV filter to deblocking BDCT-coded images. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
