A note on RLC transfer function synthesis

A method of realizing on open-circuit voltage transfer function specification was given by Ho (1956) using Miyata's (1955) method of driving-point synthesis. This method requires the scaling of component networks of the Miyata synthesis to satisfy the short-circuit transfer admittance specification and uses a residual admittance connected across the output terminals to meet the short-circuit driving-point admittance specification. In this note a simple procedure is described which eliminates the scaling of component networks and also the use of residual admittance.
