Reduction of cardinal effects in SAR imagery of densely populated urban areas by suppressing strong multiple returns
W.K. Lee · 2002
In SAR imagery, strong returns from a group of man-made reflectors obscure adjacent target areas leading to a significant loss of information. The wide dynamic range of response levels from urban area is the source to degrade the SAR image characteristic. In this paper, we explore a way to interpret this problem in SAR imaging and propose a waveform design technique to improve target detection performance.
