Projective geometry has been proved to be a convenient tool for solving the rectification problem n ithout camera calibration. In this paper. we propose a new algoritlun wluch has much less geometric distortion in the rectification process. Several image pairs were tested to denlollstrate the applicability and reliability of the proposed algorithm. Coniparisons with other method are provided to venfj the perfonnance improvement of this new scheme.
