Self-similarity of multi-access interference processes in multimedia wireless CDMA networks

We study the temporal structure of multi-access interference (MAI) in multimedia CDMA networks. Our results show that the MAI process is "self-similar", indicating directly that the MAI is long-range dependent and there exists a predictive structure of the MAI across multiple time scales.
