Analogue electronic model of the Lorenz equations
F.N.H. Robinson · International Journal of Electronics · 1990
A detailed design is given for an inexpensive electronic circuit that models the Lorenz equations over a wide range of parameters. These can be set, and solutions observed and recorded, in a matter of minutes so that the circuit would be useful either in teaching or as a research tool, possibly in planning a numerical computation. Examples show solutions in cases for which numerical solutions are available for comparison, and also some new solutions.
