Performance modeling and analysis of the Survivable Signaling Network

Bahman Khosravi-Sichani, W.J. Mayer · 2002

The Survivable Signaling Network (SSN), designed to provide a robust, highly survivable signaling network for national security emergency preparedness needs, is discussed. The network uses an adaptive routing algorithm based on a minimum-hop routing algorithm and a flooding technique to provide the required network robustness and survivability. The performance objectives of this network, specifically the network capacity objective, are addressed.>
