A new fading compensation scheme for WATM

This paper describes a fading compensation scheme for wireless ATM (WATM) systems using pilot symbols. Using this scheme, we can obtain a higher efficient code rate in radio error controlling by error correcting technology like header error control (HEC) or forward error control (FEC).
