∗The present work deals with the parametric study of SERN and finding out the sensitivity of the performance to each parameter. The various parameters are cowl length, ramp length and the shape of the upper ramp. After finding the sensitivity some of the parameters are fixed and the other parameters are determined through an optimization problem. For the optimization purpose response surface method was earlier employed. The input data points on which CFD runs are required are calculated with the help of Latin hypercube sampling method. Analysis is based on CFD using Navier Stokes code. The grid sensitivity analysis is also performed before finalizing the grid for study. Response surface method and Design and Analysis of Computer Experiments approach are used for optimization.
