Home network middleware architecture for supporting both dynamic reconfiguration and real-time services

This paper presents a middleware architecture for supporting dynamic reconfiguration and real-time services in home networks. The proposed home network middleware establishes a service channel between the application server and small consumer devices as well as accommodating the real-time requirements of home network services.
