Tumour curability, cellular radiosensitivity and clonogenic cell number

In a recent paper, McNally and Sheldon (1977) have presented experimental data on the radiocurability and cellular radiosensitivity of a murine tumour and have drawn attention to the existence of a discrepancy between the TCD50 implied by in vitro data and the TCD50 found in practice. However, these authors have stopped short of drawing the totality of conclusions implied by their data and their model.
