A novel idea that chaos can be applied to complex control by simple rules is proposed. We report the result of computer experiment in which an ill-posed problem is solved using adaptive switching between chaotic dynamics and atractor dynamics of recurrent neural network model. Pseudo-neuron model implemented by self-electro-optic effect device (SEED) and coupled dynamic SEEDs (D-SEEDs) are proposed. When many D-SEEDs are connected mutually with diffusive coupling interaction, chaotic dynamics occurs. A coupled network of them (pulsed neuron network) is designed and functional experiments of a roving robot into which chaos is installed are done using numerical method.
