Concerning magnetogram‐scalings at Lukiapang Magnetic Observatory

J. de Moidrey · Terrestrial Magnetism and Atmospheric Electricity · 1920

1. In January, 1917, we began scaling our magnetograms with mean scales very similar to those described by Mr. Fleming.1 The 60‐minute interval is counted from 0h 0m. But unfortunately, owing to the lack of personnel, it has been necessary to diminish the work. In consequence, the day is not divided into 24 hours, but into six intervals of 4 hours, the centers of which are 2h, 6h, 10h, 14h, 18h, and 22h.
